What does a Reiki treatment entail?
At what point can Reiki help me?
A Reiki treatment can offer a welcome solution. At many times and in many situations.
It is not a substitute for regular medication, but is a remarkable support in the healing process. Stress, tension, smoking, drinking and much more can be a thing of the past.
But it can also be very useful in the following situations:
... if you are under a lot of stress;
... if you have recurring headaches or migraines;
... if you or other family members sleep poorly or have bad dreams;
... if you have trouble putting things that are happening around you into perspective;
... if you feel you can make contact with the deceased;
... if your child tells you stories about a life you do not recognize;
... or any other situation where you are struggling, mentally or physically
and you think you need help, or you want to talk to someone to understand the things that are going on in your life.
Reiki treatments differ
In fact, a Reiki treatment can be given at any place and time.
Here are some examples:
- If you get burns while cooking, you can apply healing to the skin to prevent burn, the pain will also disappear faster;
- People in stressful jobs can be treated regularly (weekly or monthly) to deal with the workload;
- People with recurring headaches or migraines can use Reiki treatments to reduce or prevent pain altogether:
- If you sleep badly, the problem can be solved with Reiki and restore sleep to what it should be - peaceful!
- Do you suffer from intense dreams / nightmares, then Reiki can get to the root of the problem.
Dreams can have a deeper meaning and Reiki can bring out everything and solve these problems;
Reiki is available to anyone who is open to it. If you want to give Reiki to yourself, family members or others, we encourage you to read the information about our Courses.
What exactly does a Reiki treatment entail?
As said before, Reiki is the transfer of Universal Energy. Through actions of the Reiki practitioner, this energy is passed on to the receiver through the hands.
This can be done in several ways:
1 Remote treatment. The practitioner generally uses a photo of the recipient;
2 A chair treatment. If the recipient undergoes a short treatment, for example to relieve a headache relatively quickly, this can be chosen. Or if a child has difficulty sitting still, sits on the parent's lap.
3 A table treatment. This form is the most common and also the most intensive form of treatment. The recipient lies on the treatment table, first on the back and then on the stomach and receives a full treatment, from crown to feet.
Each treatment starts with an intake interview and it ends with a moment for the recipient to "ground" again. Thereafter, the experiences of both the practitioner and the recipient observed during the treatment are discussed.
The practitioner does not have to touch the recipient. Normally this will happen, but if there are clear objections from the person treated, not to do this, this will be respected and the hands will be a few centimeters above the body part to be treated.
A (minor) child is always treated in the presence of the child's parents or guardians. In principle, adults are treated without the presence of others, unless otherwise agreed.
Stories are not always easy to share
No question is too trivial, no story too unrealistic to be told. If it matters to you, you are welcome here.
Even if it has to do with things you have experienced and you are convinced there is no conclusive explanation for it but you still want to learn more about it, please feel free to contact us.
We treat every question with respect and know the "unknown".
We have ample experience
We could fill pages with examples of the benefits of Reiki. But the best way to find out what we're talking about is to experience it for yourself.
Let yourself be convinced by the effect of the energy.
If you decide to book a Reiki treatment, you can choose from a wide variety of Reiki practitioners and Reiki Masters. Each Reiki Master has their own experience and their own rates.
To be clear; the price we charge for treatments has nothing to do with the quality of the service we provide.
After all, a Reiki practitioner and Master is only a source of energy. The universal energy does its job and should in principle be accessible to everyone who needs it, under the right guidance.
The most important thing in your choice should be that you feel comfortable with your practitioner.
We would also like to point out that under no circumstances you need to take off your clothes! Reiki healing is easily transferred through material, even when you are under a thick blanket.
We hope to welcome you to our practice soon. And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
