Additional Conditions for treatments, consultations, courses and retreats from Muansun

Article 1 Applicability

1.1. These additional conditions for treatments, consultations and courses (hereinafter referred to as: Additional conditions for Reiki services) of Muansun apply in addition to the General Conditions for Internet sales. The General Terms and Conditions for Internet sales are an integral part of these Additional Terms and Conditions for Muansun's Reiki services. These conditions apply to all workshops, treatments, consults, courses and related services of Muansun.

1.2 By participating in a treatment, consultation or courses, the participant agrees to the applicability of the General and Additional conditions for Reiki services. The fact that a natural person (or legal entity) books or orders through the Muansun website implies full understanding and full acceptance of these Additional Terms for Reiki services, which is expressly acknowledged by the customer, who in particular declines to use of any contradictory document, which would be impracticable for Muansun.

1.3 These Additional Terms and Conditions for Reiki services apply to all legal relationships between Reiki Master and/or Reiki practitioner working under the website Muansun (hereinafter referred to as: Reiki Master of Muansun) and the client (hereinafter referred to as: student, user or customer).

1.4 By accepting the offer, contract and/or invoice, the customer declares to know these rules and accept them without reservation.

1.5 All bids and offers of Muansun are free, unless a deadline for acceptance of the offer. If no acceptance period has been set, the offer will always expire after 14 days.

1.6 The agreement between Muansun and the customer is concluded for a definite period, unless the nature of the agreement dictates otherwise or if the parties expressly agree otherwise in writing.

1.7 Where reference is made to work as a Reiki Master of Muansun , it includes also work as a Reiki practitioner and Reiki teacher in the broadest sense of the word, and all other work that may be performed based on the services offered.

1.8 When reference is made to the customer/student/user, this refers to the natural or legal person who has concluded an agreement with Muansun.

1.9 During the term of the contract conditions can be modified by Muansun. The latest published version is always the current version and available on the website.

Article 2 - Definitions

2.1 Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions used by Muansun, which are published on the Muansun website.

2.2 Gift voucher

A personal voucher issued by Muansun, which represents a certain value, to be spent at Muansun.

2.3. Participant

The person who follows or wishes to follow a Reiki course, treatment, consultation or retreat organized by Muansun. wenst te volgen. (Also referred to in these conditions as 'student', 'user' or 'customer').

2.4. Loose treatment

A one-off treatment to be paid and to be followed by a client at Muansun, other than on the basis of a series of treatments.

2.5. Treatment series

A sequence of multiple treatments by Muansun, in consultation with the client. The client pays an amount that is proportional to the number of treatments that fall under this series.

2.6. Course

A (Master) training or Reiki course to be given or given at Muansun.

2.7. Agreement

The purchase agreement between the Customer and Muansun

2.8. Website.

Article 3 - Registration/booking of services offered

Registration for one of the services offered by Muansun on the website takes place by means of booking or by registering via the website or by registering via email. A personal profile is created where all data of the relevant customer can be found and with which all services can be booked. All services offered must be booked in advance and only when Muansun confirms the booking, a spot is reserved. The customer is obliged to book the desired service in advance before coming to the practice. Muansun reserves the right to refuse a customer if he has not booked the service in advance.

3.1. Treatments and consultations

A participant can participate in treatment and/or consultation after he has made a booking via the website and Muansun has received the full amount for participation in the chosen treatment or consultation (with due observance of the latest payment term). The treatments and/or consultations are given on the basis of the timetable provided by Muansun and at the location indicated by Muansun . In addition, it is possible that a treatment takes place online or remotely, if the customer books this product. Muansun reserves the right to change the schedule at any time. Any changes will, as far as possible, be announced in advance by Muansun by e-mail.

3.2 Cancellation by Muansun

Muansun reserves the right to cancel a planned treatment and/or consultation as a result of force majeure. In that case, a new date will be set in accordance with the customer in all reasonableness and fairness.

3 .3 Cancellation by the client The participant can cancel his booking free of charge up to one month before the planned treatment and/or consultation. This can be done by e-mail to contact@muansun.com. Up to seven days before the planned treatment, the participant can cancel his booking, in which case the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of 50% of the participation or registration fee already paid, plus Euro 25 administration costs. If the participant cancels his registration within seven days before a planned treatment, no registration fee will be refunded or a refund will be granted of the contributions already paid for participation.

4. Courses

4.1 Booking

A participant can participate in a course after Muansun has received the full amount for participation in the course (with due observance of the final payment term).

4.2 Cancellation by Muansun Muansun reserves the right to cancel a planned course due to force majeure.

4.3 Admission and Cancellation

Registrations are processed in order of receipt (registration via the site or by email + (down) payment). After receipt of the registration, a personal intake may take place by email. The teacher and participant discuss any questions about the content of the course, the admission and the level of the current participant. After this intake, the participant will be notified as soon as possible whether he has been admitted to the course. In case the participant is not admitted, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Participation in the courses is automatically final after receipt of the due course fee. When the participation in the course is final, the participant is obliged to pay the full course fee (on time). Cancellation is therefore no longer possible. After payment of the full course fee, no refund is possible (not even partial). When opting for payment in installments, the participant is obliged to pay all installments, even if the participant should stop the training prematurely.

4.4. Catch up lessons

For the continuity of the courses, it is recommended not to deviate from the established course schedule. In case of urgent need, a course can be rescheduled in consultation with Muansun. The completion of the course will automatically shift. However, it is strongly recommended to complete and finish courses once started, unless there are reasonable grounds and arguments to end the courses prematurely. This is always done in consultation with the Reiki Master. Pausing a course is only possible in the cases referred to in Article 12.

The student is responsible for the continuity in participation of the lessons. No financial arrangement will be made for lessons that were not attended. Under no circumstances will Muansun pay a refund of the paid (full) course fee.

Article 5 - Online courses

In addition to the provisions referred to in Article 4, the following additional provisions apply to online courses.

5.1 Definition of the courses

All courses taught and/or provided by or on behalf of Muansun, including individual courses, group courses, lectures, workshops, in-company courses and online courses.

Article 6 - Formation of the agreement

6.1 The agreement between Muansun and the client and/or student can be established by:

1. creating a personal account on the website; either/or

2. payment of the full course fee due within the set payment term; either/or

3. by confirmation of the quotation by the client by e-mail.

Each quotation for a course and/or coaching is in principle without obligation and remains valid for fourteen working days, unless indicated otherwise by Muansun.

Muansun is only bound by a quotation if it is confirmed by email by the Client within fourteen working days and payment has been received within the set payment term. All prices stated in the quotation are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. VAT is levied on all courses, treatments, consults and workshops.

Article 7 - Cancellation and termination

7.1 Muansun is entitled to terminate the agreement with the client and/or student with immediate effect if the minimum number of required participants in the reserved course, which is necessary for the continuation of the relevant course, is not met. The student is informed by Muansun when booking the course if a minimum number of participants is required.

7.2 In case of force majeure. See article 12.

Article 8 - Payment

8.1 Muansun will charge the fees owed by the client and/or student by means of an invoice. For the online courses, the user/student will only have access to the online stagese when the student has created a personal account and the relevant fee has been paid in full. The relevant content and/or services and/or products of Muansun can then be used immediately, before the withdrawal period as referred to in the Distance Selling Act has expired. The right of withdrawal of the user/student on the basis of the Distance Selling Act is explicitly excluded for that reason.

Article 9 - Create and use an account

9.1 By creating an account, the user agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of Muansun.

After purchasing an online course, the user has access to this course via the personal account for the duration of at least one year. After the expiry of this period, the personal account will automatically expire. With this personal account, the user obtains a personal, revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-sub-licensable, non-transferable, right to view and/or listen and/or study the Content that is made available (whether or not for a fee) through the Website.

9.2 The user is not permitted to grant third parties access to his/her account and/or the Content to which this account provides access. User is personally responsible for keeping the login details associated with his/her account confidential.

9.3 Users under the age of 16 require permission from their parent(s) or guardian to create an account. By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the user indicates that he is over 16 years of age or has permission from a parent or guardian.

Article 10 - Intellectual property

10.1 All intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyrights and trademark rights) with regard to the Muansun Websites and Content (including but not limited to all course materials, online courses, videos, voice recordings, infographics and all Content) are vested exclusively in Muansun , insofar as those rights do not (also) belong to third parties. The User is not permitted to copy, download, reproduce, edit or distribute (parts of) the Website and/or Content in any way and in any form and for any purpose without the prior written consent of Muansun.

The User is only allowed to download Content (whether or not for a fee) for personal use. It is not permitted to remove, make illegible, hide or change notices or statements regarding intellectual property rights.

Article 11 Validity

11.1 Failure to fulfill the appointment without notification by the customer If the customer is not present at the agreed and reserved time for a course, treatment, consultation or other booked service, and therefore no use is made of the services of Muansun at the reserved time, no (financial) arrangement will be made for the appointment that was not attended.

11.2 Cancellation by the customer

Up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled session participant can cancel his registration. This can be done by e-mail to contact@muansun.com. If the participant cancels his booking within 24 hours before the start of a planned private session, there will be no refund of amounts already paid.

11.3 Cancellation by Muansun

Muansun reserves the right to cancel a planned (private) session, stagese or treatment or any of the other services offered due to force majeure. In that case, an alternative date will be agreed in consultation with the participant/student. Both parties must make every effort to plan this in accordance with reasonableness and fairness.

Article 12 - Force majeure

12 .1 In these general terms and conditions, force majeure means, in addition to what is understood in this regard in law and jurisprudence, all external causes, foreseeable or unforeseeable, on which Muansunv can not influence, but Muansun is unable to fulfill obligations. This includes in any case, but not exclusively: fire, accident, illness, strike, riots, war, government measures, natural disasters such as floods, power cuts of longer duration, prolonged interruption of an internet connection, transport barriers and terrorism threats. In case of force majeure, Muansun does not owe a refund of already paid (registration) monies.

12.2. During the force majeure, Muansun's obligations are suspended. If compliance with the obligation is no longer possible due to force majeure, both parties are entitled to dissolve the agreement, without any obligation to pay compensation. For treatments, courses and/or consultations already carried out, the customer's obligation to pay remains.

12.3. If Muansun has already partially fulfilled its obligations at the onset of the force majeure, or can only partially fulfill its obligations, Muansun is entitled to invoice separately for what has already been carried out and the customer is obliged to pay this invoice, as if it were a separate agreement.

Article 13 - Prices and payment

13.1 Prices All current prices are listed on the website. Muansun reserves the right to change prices. Payment for services takes place via the payment method stated on the website. If a separate payment arrangement is desired, a request must be submitted to contact@muansun.com

13.2 Direct Debit In the event of direct debit and the amount cannot be collected, the customer will receive a payment reminder with the request to pay the amount due within three working days. If the amount due is not received by then, an administration fee of Euro 25.00 will be charged. With a second reminder, another Euro 25.00 will be added.

Payment reminders must be paid within three days. Muansun reserves the right to suspend the services to be provided by the relevant student until payment has been made. de te verlenen diensten van de betreffende cursist op te schorten tot de betaling is voldaan. If it concerns a course, Muansun may in certain cases decide not to continue or complete the course.

13.3 One-off payments

Payment of separate courses, private sessions, consultations, gift vouchers, workshops, training and retreats can be made by bank transfer, or by a method of payment as stated on the website. Muansun has the right to refuse participation of the registered course or treatment or one of the other services offered if the participant has not fulfilled his payment obligations on time. Refund of the (course) money is not possible.

13.4 Payment by check Muansun is never obliged to accept checks and can attach conditions to the acceptance of such payment method. The same applies to other means of payment not mentioned here.

13.5 Price change

Muansun reserves the right to change the prices of memberships, individual lessons, private sessions, treatments, gift vouchers, workshops, courses, retreats and other products and services without prior notice.  

13.6 The prices are expressed in Euros Prices are in cluding VAT, taking into account the French VAT applicable on the date of billing. If VAT were to change, our prices would immediately be discounted at the new applicable rate.

Article 14 Liability

14.1 Any liability on the part of Muansun for damage of any kind is excluded, except in the event that this damage is caused by intent or deliberate reckless action by Muansun's managers. Muansun does not accept any liability for physical and/or mental injuries or discomfort. Muansun is never liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings. 1

4.2 Muansun is also under no circumstances liable for:

1. damage to the user or third parties that is the result of the provision of incorrect or incomplete documentation or information by the user to Muansun, even if this information and documentation originates from third parties, or damage that is otherwise the result of instructions, acts or omissions of the user.

2. damage to the user or third parties that is the result of acts or omissions of auxiliary persons or suppliers engaged by Muansun;

14.2 Injury

Muansun works with qualified teachers and always provides high quality services. Muansun always puts the mental and physical well-being of its students and customers first. By participating in a course, consultation or treatment at or provided by Muansun, the student and/or customer accepts that he/she participates voluntarily and thereby accepts the consequences that are inherent to the Reiki treatments and courses. In addition, the student and/or customer at any time is held the medical advice of a qualified physician or medical specialist to win if Muansun this advice or if the participant/cusist it considers it necessary.

Muansun has no role in the sense of a doctor or medical specialist. Muansun recommends the following:

  • Consult a doctor if you consider it necessary;
  • If you have an injury or other physical or mental discomfort, or are taking medication, always report this to the relevant practitioner/Reiki Master before the start of the course, treatment or consultation;
  • Listen carefully to the instructions of the relevant practitioner/Reiki Master and follow them;
  • Listen to the signals from your body and act carefully accordingly;
  • Ask questions when you do not understand an explanation or experience.


Article 15 - Schedule 15.1 Changes to the agreed schedule Muansun reserves the right to change the class schedule at any time. Any changes will be announced in advance in Muansun by e-mail.

15.2 Course cancellations Muansun reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a scheduled course or appointment due to force majeure. In that case no refund will be made of amounts already paid. See article 12.

Article 16 - Character of Reiki treatments and courses

16.1 Participation at your own risk Muansun would like to expressly point out to you by means of these terms and conditions that the customer expressly acknowledges the nature of Reiki treatment by participating in courses, consultations, undergoing treatments and all other occurring services of Muansun. By accepting the general and additional conditions, the customer and student and/or treated declare that he/she consciously accepts this liability for himself or herself or possibly for the (minor) children. Muansun will in turn make every effort to respect the mental and physical condition of the participant/student and/or the person being treated and to refer them to a medical specialist where necessary. See disclaimer.

16.2 Treating customers with respect Muansun also declares that treatments and courses will take place with physical and mental respect towards the participant/student/treated in the broadest sense of the word.

16.3 (Minor) children

Children (minors) will only be treated with the consent of their parent(s) or legal representative(s). Children (minors) must always be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal representative(s). A minimum age of 16 years applies to book courses or workshops, unless otherwise agreed in consultation with the candidate student and parent(s) and/or legal representative(s).

Article 17 - Terminating, changing and pausing treatments or courses

17.1 Notice period Termination of a treatment series or course is only possible in consultation with Muansun, (with due observance of the minimum registration period) with a notice period of one month. Cancellation must take place in writing by email via contact@muansun.com.

Only after the customer has received confirmation by e-mail that the cancellation has been received in good order, is it a legally valid cancellation. The only valid reason for ending a treatment series or course early is illness/hospitalization. The student must hand over a doctor's statement to Muansun.

17.2 Increase, decrease treatment series After consultation with Muansun, it is possible to increase or decrease the booked treatment series to a treatment series with a different number. There is a change period and the student must request the change by e-mail (contact@muansun.com) before the fifteenth of the month, in order to take effect on the first of the month after. Only after the student has received confirmation by e-mail that the increase/decrease has been received in good order will there be a legally valid increase/decrease.

When converting to a treatment series of fewer sessions than the original treatment series, Muansun is not obliged to reimburse the treatments that have not been taken. Unless otherwise agreed, all treatments not followed expire. tenzij anders overeengekomen.

17.3 Terminate or pause in case of illness/injury/pregnancy

Termination of a course or treatment/treatment series due to complications due to pregnancy is possible. Cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail (contact@muansun.com) before the fifteenth of the month, to take effect on the first of the following month. Only after the student has received a confirmation by e-mail that the cancellation has been received in good order, is there a valid cancellation. The still open and/or not followed treatments will therefore expire. In consultation with Muansun and the customer, it will be determined whether the course or treatment can be resumed at a later time. Muansun is not obliged to refund amounts already paid.

17.4 Pausing in case of illness/injury/pregnancy Pausing a treatment series, consultations or course is only possible in exceptional cases. A valid reason to pause a treatment series, consultation or stagese is illness/hospitalization/pregnancy. The student must hand over a doctor's statement to Muansun. A second valid reason to pause a treatment series, consultation or course is unexpected absence from France for more than one (1) month.

In consultation, the student and Muansun determine the duration of the pause, and the possibility to resume the agreed service. The request for a pause must be made before the 15th of the month by e-mail (contact@muansun.com) for the first of the following month. It is not possible to pause a treatment series, consultation or course retroactively. At the start of the pause, a final date for the pause is agreed.

This term is a minimum of two calendar months and a maximum of six calendar months. If the customer still decides during the pause or after the start date of the resumption that he does not want to follow up on the treatments, consultations or course, this is possible with due observance of the notice period referred to in Article 7.1 .

17.5 Rate and holiday

When booking the services of Muansun and accepting the offered schedule, the customer is expected to immediately report planned holidays and already known appointments. This means that if the customer is absent due to holiday and could have known this when booking, no refund will be made for the treatment, consultation or course day not received. Missed lessons can be made up according to Article 3.1.5.

Article 18 - House rules

18.1 House rules

All students and customers must always follow the following Muansun house rules:

Make sure you are present at least five minutes before the start of the appointment so that the appointment can start at the specified time;

  • Wear comfortable clothing;
  • Sexual behavior and/or sexually oriented behavior will not be tolerated by Muansun;
  • The (physical) integrity of students and customers must always be respected.

18.2 Denial of Entry

Muansun reserves the right to deny students or customers who, in its opinion, do not comply with the house rules, as referred to in article 10.1, access to Muansun and to terminate any continuation of the courses, treatment or consultation of the relevant customer without reimbursement of any amounts already paid.

18.3 Duty of confidentiality and confidential information Muansun, as well as anyone who works on behalf of Muansun, undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of all data of the client and customer that are known or likely to be confidential. This confidentiality remains after termination of the assignment.

Article 19 Personal data

19.1 Collecting personal data Muansun collects personal data from the students and customers for the purpose of keeping its file, for the execution of payment orders and for the administration. Muansun handles this collection of personal data with care and always adheres to the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act.

19.2 Use of personal data Muansun uses the in Article 14.1 also mentioned personal data to inform students and customers about activities of Muansun and any changes in, for example, the timetable. If the customer does not wish to receive communication from Muansun, this can be communicated in writing by e-mail to: contact@muansun.com.

The course participant and customer are aware that in that case it may not be possible to use all services and products of Muansun.

19.3 Transfer of personal data Muansun will never pass on the personal data of the stagese participants and participants to third parties without prior written permission.

Article 20 - Intellectual property

20.1 Course content Although the content of the Muansun courses is not unique due to the nature of the courses all course material has been specially compiled by Muansun and therefore the course participant is prohibited from using the course material made available by Muansun to the course participant and customer and the stagese material during the course to communicate shared information to third parties or to share it with other parties, or to publish it in any way without Muansun's prior consent.

20.2 Social Media and Internet Given the confidentiality of the content of the courses treatments and consultations, the client or student is prohibited from publishing the topics discussed and the experiences gained during the appointments and courses of Muansun on social media and the internet. This means that these agreements are handled by both parties under strict confidentiality. Muansun is not responsible and liable for statements made by students and customers and the consequences thereof if they do not comply with this article.

20.3. The content of the own blogs posted on the Muansun website under the item 'Blogs', and the product descriptions on the website, as well as the course folders, are subject to the intellectual property and copyright of Muansun. Any reproduction in whole or in part of this content is strictly prohibited and may be counterfeit. The customer is therefore prohibited from any form of reproduction or exploitation of said blogs and all other articles and descriptions published on the Muansun website, as well as the course content, without the express written permission of Muansun (the provider), who can grant them conditioning a financial contribution.

Article 21 - Applicability of law and settlement of disputes

21.1 French law

21.1.1. These Additional Terms and Conditions for Reiki services are exclusively governed by French law.

21.1.2. If one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions or additional general terms and conditions are considered excessively onerous in the context of legal proceedings, the other provisions will remain in full force.

21.2 Dispute Resolution Deviations from these general terms and conditions and any additional conditions are only binding if they have been confirmed in writing by Muansun. Any disputes relating to the general terms and conditions, a treatment, course or consultation, or taking lessons or purchasing other products and services from or at Muansun will be settled at the competent court in France.
